What we offer
Seashell Trust are working in partnership with OnSide Youth Zones to enable disabled children and young people to get involved in sport and creative leisure activities, such as football, basketball, climbing, dance and music. The 'A Level Playing Field' project was launched in 2014 to address the limited opportunities disabled young people have to participate in sports and leisure with their peers, and the above video - taken at the first Inter-Youth Zone CADS on the 28th May, 2015 - demonstrates that, when accessible sports are on the table, all #YoungPeopleCan.
CADS (children’s able and disabled sports) are a series of unique sport, health and leisure activities organised by the sport and well-being team at Seashell Trust.
All activities are suitable for both able and disabled children and young adults. Making sport fully inclusive is important to us and this is reflected in our events. We make sure that all of our activities can be accessed by all young people no matter what their ability or disability, and one to one support can be provided for those with more complex needs. A great deal of preparation goes into each event to provide the best experience for all young people involved.
To book onto the next CADS holiday programme, please complete the booking form.
