Seashell Trust's Therapy Outreach Services are offering a taster session which will explore sensory processing difficulties in children and young people.  Difficulties in this area can significantly impact on so many areas of everyday life, including self-care, play, communication, access to education, sleep and more.

Following the SEND inspection carried out jointly by Ofsted and the CQC in September 2018, Stockport Council are holding two ‘Parent Focus Groups’ on Tuesday 15 January 2019. The aim of these focus groups is to work closely with local parents to understand how we can work together to improve services.

This is the original Intervenor Course developed and delivered by Jenny Fletcher and colleagues from Sense.  The five day course is specifically designed for teaching assistants, health care workers, learning support workers, social care workers and those employed to work on a 1:1 basis with a child or young person who is congenitally multi-sensory impaired or deafblind or has a single sensory impairment with additional complex needs.

Business Heavyweights sees high profile business leaders quite literally lace up their gloves against one another in the ring, all in aid of those who need it most. Months of intensive training with specialist trainers and boxing pros culminates in a jam-packed evening of sweat, tears and triumph in Manchester city centre.

This year’s event, working in partnership with MC2, will be raising money for Seashell Trust as well as homeless charity, The Booth Centre, and Manchester Maccabi Cultural & Sports Club.
