Nikola joined the Trust in 2010.  She gained a BA (Hons) from Bradford in 1991 and successfully completed a postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management (CIPD) at the University of Teesside in 1993. Nikola’s substantive career has been in the FE sector, joining Stockton Riverside College in 1992 as Personnel Manager. Nikola developed HR and staff development services at a time of great change in the FE sector and delivered the ‘Modernising Pay Agenda’ within the college that negotiated changes to terms and conditions enabling the college to meet the changing landscape of FE. In 1997 Nikola was appointed to the senior leadership team and was seconded to manage the college’s £37 million new college and relocation project directing change management and organisational development. Following the successful delivery of the college relocation Nikola went on to support the merger of the college with a 6th form provider.  Leaving the college in 2008 as Vice Principal (Resources) with the experience of leading and managing a portfolio that included HRD, IT, Facilities Management (Site Services, Cleaning, Catering and Reprographic services) Health and Safety.

Since joining the Trust, Nikola has welcomed the challenge of developing her knowledge and area of work both within the field of special education and residential care services and is proud to support the staff and managers at the Trust in achieving their vision for the future.
